Hon. (Mrs.) Kokila Gunawardene,— To ask the Minister of Labour and Foreign Employment,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether the services provided by the Employees Provident Fund have been extended;
(ii) whether a convenient methodology has been established to facilitate the receipt of said services; and
(iii) if so, of the said methodology?
(b) Will he also inform this House—
(i) whether the program to provide Rs. 2 million as the compensation for workers who encounter accidents at work, is implemented; and
(ii) if so, of the number of workers who have been hitherto compensated under the said program?
(c) If not, why?
