2158/2012: HETTIPOLA MODEL PRIMARY SCHOOL: THREE-STOREY, MULTI-PURPOSE CONSTRUCTION

Hon. Dayasiri Jayasekara,— To ask the Minister of Education,—

(a) Will he state—

(i) whether a three-storey, multi-purpose building is being constructed at Hettipola Model Primary School in Paduwasnuwara Education Division of Kuliyapitiya Education Zone;

(ii) the estimated cost for the aforesaid construction;

(iii) the manner in which the provisions required for the aforesaid construction were obtained;

(iv) the name and address of the person who provided funds, if the aforesaid construction is not carried out using the allocations made by the government;

(v) the date of commencement of the aforesaid construction work;

(vi) the date by which the construction work should be completed as per the agreement;

(vii) whether the aforesaid construction has been completed by now; and

(viii) the reasons for not completing the construction work, if the construction work has not been completed ?

(b) If not, why?

ගරු නියෝජ්‍ය කථානායකතුමනි, අධ්‍යාපන අමාත්‍යතුමා‍ වෙනුවෙන් එම ප්‍රශ්නයට මා පිළිතුර දෙනවා.

(අ) (i) නැත. (වයඹ පළාත් අධ්‍යාපන අධ්‍යක්ෂකගේ ලිපියට අනුව)

(ii) ඇස්තමේන්තුවක් නැත.

(iii) ආදි ශිෂ්‍යයකුගේ පෞද්ගලික ධන පරිත්‍යාගයකි.

(iv) එම විද්‍යාලයේ ආදි ශිෂ්‍යයෙකු වූ ජාලිය කුලසේකර මහතා, මඟ නැගුම සභාපති.

(vi) අනුග්‍රාහක පදනම මත කෙරෙන ඉදිකිරීමක් බැවින් ස්ථිර දිනයක් දක්වා නොමැත.

(viii) වයඹ පළාත් අධ්‍යාපන ලේකම්ගේ 2012.12.03 දිනැති ලිපියට අනුව මෙම ඉදිකිරීම් ආරම්භ කර අත්තිවාරම් වැඩ කර ගෙන යාමේදී එයට යොදා ගත් කම්බිවල ප්‍රමිතිය නෙගැළපෙන බව ප්‍රාදේශීය ඉංජිනේරු විසින් කොන්ත්‍රාත්කරුට‍ දන්වා ඇත. තවද, ගොඩනැගිල්ල ඉදිකිරීම සඳහා පඬුවස්නුවර ප්‍රාදේශීය සභාවේ අනුමැතිය නොගැනීම හා පළාත් ආයතනවල විරෝධතාවය නිසා ඉදිකිරීම් නවතා ඇත. මේ වන විට දීර්ඝ කාලයක් මෙසේ තිබීම නිසා අත්තිවාරම් කම්බි දිරායාම හේතුවෙන් එය ඉවත් කර එම භූමිය සමතලා කර තිබේ. ඒ අනුව මෙම ස්ථානයේ ගොඩනැඟිල්ලක් සෑදීම සිදු නොවන බව තවදුරටත් වයඹ පළාත් ලේකම් (ප්‍රධාන අමාත්‍යාංශය) විසින් සඳහන් කර ඇත.
