Hon. Ishak Rahuman,— To ask the Minister of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policies,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the number of Bank of Ceylon branches in Anuradhapura district;
(ii) of the number of companies and individuals who have been granted loans of more than 05 million rupees by those branches from 2015 to 2020, separately;
(iii) the amount of the loans that have not yet been recovered out of the loans granted during the aforesaid period of time;
(iv) whether legal action has been taken to recover the said loans; and
(v) the amount of the loans that have been written off as bad debts out of the loans mentioned in (iii) above?
(b) If not , why?
