Hon. Rohana Bandara,— To ask the Minister of Women, Child Affairs and Social Empowerment,—
(a) Will he inform the House—
(i) whether he is aware of a female children’s home named “Avanthi Devi” situated in Anuradhapura town;
(ii) of the number of children receive shelter at the above-mentioned children’s home at present;
(iii) whether he is aware that various irregularities occur at that children’s home; and
(iv) if so, what measures will be taken regarding it?
(b) If not, why?
