Hon. Shanakiyan Rajaputhiran Rasamanickam,— To ask the Minister of Urban Development and Housing,—
(a) Is he aware that—
(i) 44 houses were awarded in year 2018 for the people living in the villages belonging to Wavunativu Divisional Secretariat Division in Baticaloa district; and
(ii) however, the construction works of the aforesaid houses have not been fully completed so far?
(b) Will he inform this House—
(i) the reasons as to why the construction works of the aforesaid houses have not been fully completed;
(ii) whether steps will be taken to complete the construction works of those houses; and
(iii) if so, the said date?
(c) If not, why?
