Hon. Shanakiyan Rajaputhiran Rasamanickam,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils and Local Government,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether an accountant has been appointed for the Kalmunai Divisional Secretariat in Ampara district; and
(ii) the reasons for the delay in appointing an accountant to the aforesaid Divisional Secretariat?
(b) Will he also inform this House—
(i) whether steps have been taken by now to divide each of the Divisional Secretariat Divisions of Eravurpattu, Kalavanchikudi and Porathivupattu in Batticaloa district into two parts as there is a huge population in the aforesaid three divisions;
(ii) if not, reasons for it; and
(iii) the steps that will be taken in this regard?
(c) If not, why?
