Hon. Gayantha Karunatilleka,— To ask the Minister of Agriculture,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) the major districts where liquid milk is produced in Sri Lanka;
(ii) separately, the amount of liquid milk produced in each of the aforesaid districts;
(iii) the number of liquid milk collection centers that have been established so far; and
(iv) whether the technique to refrigerate small scale milk products operated by solar power has been introduced by now to increase the storage capacity of liquid milk products as mentioned in the policy statement “Vistas of Prosperity and Splendour ”?
(b) If not, why?
