Hon. Eran Wickramaratne,— To ask the Minister of Youth Affairs and Skills Development,—
(a) Is he aware that the Vice Chancellor of the University of Vocational Technology is appointed under the provisions specified in Act No. 31 of 2008?
(b) Will he state—
(i) the present position of the Vice Chancellor’s Office at the University of Vocational Technology;
(ii) the person responsible for permitting present Vice Chancellor to irregularly continue in the office after January 2010; and
(iii) the person who takes the responsibility of the decisions taken in the Board of Governors and the Academic Body of the University Chaired by the present Vice Chancellor ?
(c) If not, why?
