Hon. R. M. Ranjith Madduma Bandara,— To ask the Minister of Economic Development,—
(a) Is he aware that—
(i) Mr. D.M. Piyadasa, D.M. Gunadasa, R.M. Amaradasa, T.A. Sarath, M.P. Gunapala, D.M. Rathnasiri, D.M. Sarath, J.M. Premalatha and H.M. Gunasekara in the Galtemmandiya Grama Niladhari Division in the Buttala Divisional Secretariat Division in the Moneragala district are low income earners who received Samurdhi benefits;and
(ii) at present they have been deprived of the Samurdhi benefit?
(b) Will he inform this House whether arrangements will be made to grant samurdhi benefits back to those people who are in a very helpless state owing to the deprivation of the samurdhi benefit?
(c) If not, why?
