Hon. Buddhika Pathirana,— To ask the Minister of Education,—
(a) Will he admit that—
(i) the building which houses the Divisional Education Office of Pasgoda, coming under the Deniyaya Education Zone in Matara District is in a severely dilapidated condition; and
(ii) as the aforesaid building is situated within the premises of the M/Urubokka National School it self, it has become a serious threat to the lives of the students and the employees of that school?
(b) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether action will be taken to renovate this building expeditiously; and
(ii) whether allocations have been made for that purpose?
(c) If not, why?
