Hon. Buddhika Pathirana,— To ask the Minister of Health,—

(a) Is he aware that—

(i) the people in the Agunakolapelessa area are greatly inconvenienced owing to the severe dearth of physical and human resources in the Agunakolapelessa district hospital; and

(ii) a number of buildings of this hospital has been abandoned due to lack of repair?

(b) Will he inform this House—

(i) whether it has been planned to provide the Agunakolapellessa district hospital with the required facilities soon;

(ii) whether required provisions have been allocated for that purpose; and

(iii) if so, the date on which the reconstruction activities of the hospital will be started?

(i) whether the shortage of employees prevailing at this hospital has been identified;

(ii) accordingly, the number of vacancies that exist in each division separately;

(iii) the date on which arrangements will be made to fill those vacancies?

(d) If not, why?

ගරු කථානායකතුමනි, සෞඛ්‍ය අමාත්‍යතුමා වෙනුවෙන් මා එම ප්‍රශ්නයට පිළිතුර දෙනවා.

(අ) (i) අඟුනකොළපැලැස්ස දිසා රෝහලේ මේ වන විට සම්පත් හිඟයක් නොමැත.

(ii) පැරණි ගොඩනැඟිලි වෙනුවට නව ගොඩනැඟිලි ඉදිකර ඇති අතර ඉතා පැරණි ගොඩනැඟිලි 02ක් භාවිතයට ගත නොහැකි තත්ත්වයක පවතී.

(ආ) (i) 2012 වර්ෂයට අදාළ සැලසුම් දැනට සිදු කරනු ලැබ ඇත.

(ii) ඔව්. රුපියල් මිලියන 15යි.

(iii) දැනට ආරම්භ කර ඇත.
