1959/2013: MAIN HALL OF PILAGODA JUNIOR SCHOOL : RENOVATION

Hon. Buddhika Pathirana,— To ask the Minister of Education,—

(a) Is he aware that—

(i) the roof of the main hall of the Pilagoda Junior School, administered by the Galle Zonal Education Office in Galle District is about to collapse owing to the dilapidated condition of it ; and

(ii) the aforesaid condition has posed a threat to the lives of the students of that school?

(b) Will he inform this House—

(i) whether steps will be taken to renovate that dilapidated building, expeditiously ;

(ii) whether the allocations have been made for that ; and

(iii) if so, the date on which the renovation work will be commenced?

(අ) (i) දකුණු පළාත් අධ්‍යාපන ලේකම්ගේ පිළිතුරු ලිපියට අනුව, ඔව්.

(ii) නැත. (දකුණු පළාත් අධ්‍යාපන ලේකම්ගේ පිළිතුරු ලිපියට අනුව ප්‍රතිසංස්කරණ කටයුතු කර ඇති බැවින්)

(ආ) (i) ප්‍රතිසංස්කරණය කර ඇති බව දකුණු පළාත් අධ්‍යාපන ලේකම් විසින් දන්වා ඇත.

(ii) ඔව්.

(iii) 2011.10.05 පළාත් නිශ්චිත සංවර්ධන ප්‍රදාන යටතේ මෙම ගොඩනැඟිල්ලෙහි සම්පූර්ණ ප්‍රතිසංස්කරණයක් සිදු කරන ලදී. වැය කර ඇති මුදල රුපියල් මිලියන 1.6කි. ප්‍රතිසංස්කරණ කටයුතු නිම කළ දිනය 2011.11.04 දිනය බව දකුණු පළාත් අධ්‍යාපන ලේකම් විසින් දන්වා එවා ඇත.
