Hon. Buddhika Pathirana,— To ask the Minister of Transport,—
(a) Is he aware that—
(i) the Bus Stand which was constructed in Katupotha town in Kuliyapitiya Pradeshiya Sabha of Kurunegala District was opened about fourteen years ago; and
(ii) the aforesaid buildings including 12 stalls are decaying as they have not been used since the opening?
(b) Will he state—
(i) the reasons for abandoning the aforesaid Bus Stand and the stalls without making any use; and
(ii) whether action will be taken to reconstruct the aforesaid buildings and to hand them over to public ownership?
(c) If not, why?
