1940/2012: WAREHOUSE OF SRI LANKA PORTS AUTHORITY GIVEN TO INDIAN COMPANY : DETAILS

Hon. Buddhika Pathirana,— To ask the Minister of Ports and Highways,—

(a) Is he aware that the warehouse No. 04 that had been allocated for the storage of items of the Sri Lanka Ports Authority has been provided to an Indian company engaged in oil excavation in Mannar?

(b) Will he inform this House of—

(i) the reasons for providing that warehouse to the Indian company ;

(ii) the basis on which it has been provided ; and

(iii) the income expected through the provision of that warehouse to the Indian company?

ගරු කථානායකතුමනි, වරාය හා මහාමාර්ග අමාත්‍යතුමා වෙනුවෙන් මා එම ප්‍රශ්නයට පිළිතුර දෙනවා.

(අ) ඔව්, කොළඹ වරායේ බණ්ඩාරනායක ජැටියේ පිහිටි අංක 04 ගුදම නොව අංක 02 දරන ගුදමෙහි කොටසක් ‍කෙටි කාලීන පදනමක් මත තෙල් ගවේෂණ කටයුතුවල යෙදෙන සමාගමකට බදු දී ඇත.

(ආ) (i) මන්නාරම් බොක්කේ තෙල් ගවේෂණ කටයුතු සඳහා එම සමාගමට අවශ්‍ය උපකරණ ද්‍රව්‍ය හා සේවා සැපයුම් සම්පාදනයට පහසුකම් සැලසීම සඳහාය.

(ii) බිම් කුලී පදනම මත හා 2012 අගෝස්තු 01 දින සිට මාස 12ක කාලයකට.

(iii) අපේක්ෂිත මාසික ආදායම ඇමෙරිකානු එක්සත් ජනපද ඩොලර් 23,242.20

(ඇ) පැන නොනඟී.
