Hon. Buddhika Pathirana,— To ask the Minister of Economic Development,—
(a) Will he inform this House, the amount of money spent by the Southern Development Authority for the renovation of the Mabotuwana Community Centre in Baddegama Divisional Secretariat Division in Galle District ?
(b) Will he admit the facts that—
(i) this Community Centre is confined to a building and a name board at present; and
(ii) abandoning the aforesaid building, which was renovated by spending money, without making any use of it, is a serious crime ?
(c) Will he state whether necessary arrangements will be made to fulfill the shortcomings and open this Community Centre for the use of the public ?
(d) If not, why ?

ගරු කථානායකතුමනි, ආර්ථික සංවර්ධන අමාත්යතුමා වෙනුවෙන් මම එම ප්රශ්නයට පිළිතුර දෙනවා.
(අ) ගාල්ල දිස්ත්රික්කයේ, බද්දේගම ප්රාදේශීය ලේකම් කොට්ඨාසයේ පිහිටි මාබොටුවන ප්රජා ශාලාව ප්රතිසංස්කරණය කිරීම සඳහා දක්ෂිණ සංවර්ධන අධිකාරිය මඟින් වැය කරන ලද මුදල - රුපියල් හාරලක්ෂ තිස්දෙදහස් නවසිය අසූදෙකයි සත තිස්නවයකි. (රුපියල් 432,982.39කි.)
(ආ) (i) සහ (ii) මෙම ප්රජා ශාලාව, බද්දේගම ප්රාදේශීය සභාව වෙත භාර දී ඇති අතර, මාබොටුවන සමෘද්ධි සමිතියේ රැස්වීම්ද, ගොවි සංවිධානයේ මාසික රැස්වීම්ද, ගම්මානයේ ප්රජා රැස්වීම්ද පැවැත්වීමට මෙම ප්රජා ශාලාව දැනට යොදා ගනී.
(ඇ) මෙම ප්රජා ශාලාව විවෘත කර දැනටමත් මහජනතාවගේ ප්රයෝජනය සඳහා යොදා ගන්නා අතර රැස්වීම් පැවැත්වීම සඳහා අවශ්ය මූලික පහසුකම් පවතී.
(ඈ) අදාළ නොවේ.
