1871/2012: RENOVATION OF JAFFNA TELECOM BUILDING : MONEY SPENT

Hon. Dayasiri Jayasekara,— To ask the Minister of Telecommunication and Information Technology,—

(a) Will he state—

(i) the amount estimated for the renovation of Jaffna Telecom building;

(ii) the names and addresses of those who submitted applications, if tenders were called for the renovation of that building;

(iii) the names and address of the persons who offered the lowest bid in their applications according to the tender procedure; and

(iv) the name of the person or the institution that was awarded the tender and the amount of the bid?

(b) Will he inform this House—

(i) whether construction work of the aforesaid building has been completed by now; and

(ii) if so, the total amount of money spent on it?

(c) If not, why?

(අ)          (i)      රු. 63,000,000.00 (බදු රහිතව)

              (ii)      01.    යූරෝවේලි ඉංජිනේරු සහ ඉදිකිරීම් (පුද්ගලික) සමාගම, නො. 45, වන සංරක්ෂණ කාර්යාලය, යාපනය.

                        02. පෙන්ත්හවුස් ඉංජිනේරු (පුද්ගලික) සමාගම, නො. 20, කොළඹ පාර, කටුනායක.

                        03. ස්ක්වෙයාර්මෙක් ඉංජිනේරු (පුද්ගලික) සමාගම, නො. 135/1, පරණ කොට්ටාව  පාර, නාවින්න, මහරගම.

                        04. ලින්ක් ඉංජිනේරු (පුද්ගලික) සමාගම, නො. 137බී, රාජගිරිය පාර, රාජගිරිය.

                        05. V.V. කරුණාරත්න සහ සමාගම, නො. 579, බුළුගහ හන්දිය, නුවර පාර, කැලණිය.

             (iii)      යූරෝවේලි ඉංජිනේරු සහ ඉදිකිරීම් (පුද්ගලික)සමාගම, නො. 45, වන සංරක්ෂණ කාර්යාලය, යාපනය.

             (iv)      පෙන්ත්හවුස් ඉංජිනේරු (පුද්ගලික) සමාගම, නො. 20, කොළඹ පාර, කටුනායක (දෙවන අවම ලංසුව) රු. 57,409,988.42 (බදු රහිතව)

(ආ) (i) ඔව්. ඉදිකිරීම් කටයුතු දැනට සම්පූර්ණ කර ඇත.

(ii) රු. 56,352,900.34 (බදු රහිතව) අමතර වැඩ සඳහා මුදල රු. 5,265,354.12 (බදු රහිතව)

(ඇ) අදාළ නොවේ.
