1832/2012: VEHICLES AT ANURADHAPURA DIVISIONAL HEALTH SERVICES DIRECTOR PREMISES : RE-USE

Hon. Buddhika Pathirana,— To ask the Minister of Health,—

(a) Will he admit that—

(i) a number of vehicles worth millions of rupees have been decaying at the premises of the office of the Anuradhapura Divisional Health Services Director for years; and

(ii) leaving the state resources to decay as mentioned above is a serious crime?

(b) Will he inform this House—

(i) of the reasons for not operating the aforesaid vehicles again after getting them repaired;

(ii) whether steps will be taken to repair the aforesaid vehicles and use them again; and

(iii) if so, the period of time that will be taken for it?

ගරු නියෝජ්‍ය කථානායකතුමනි, සෞඛ්‍ය අමාත්‍යතුමා වෙනුවෙන් මා එම ප්‍රශ්නයට පිළිතුර දෙනවා.

(අ) (i) නැත.

(ii) ප්‍රයෝජනයට ගත නොහැකි තත්ත්වයේ පවතින වාහන 14ක් අනුරාධපුර ප්‍රාදේශීය සෞඛ්‍ය සේවා අධ්‍යක්ෂ කාර්යාල භූමිය තුළ තිබෙන අතර, ඉන් වාහන 9ක් අනුරාධපුර ශ්‍රී ලංකා වෘත්තීය පුහුණු අධිකාරියේ ඉල්ලීම අනුව එහි පුහුණුව ලබන සිසුන්ගේ ප්‍රයෝජනය සඳහා එම අධිකාරිය වෙත පවරා ඇත. ඉතිරි වාහන වෙන්දේසි කිරීම සඳහා කටයුතු කරමින් පවතී.

(ආ) (i) මෙම වාහන නැවත අලුත්වැඩියා කළ නොහැකි තත්ත්වයෙන් දිරාපත් වී ඇත.

(ii) නැත. අලුත්වැඩියා කළ නොහැකි තත්ත්වයේ පවතින මෙම වාහන අලුත්වැඩියා කිරීම ආර්ථිකමය වශයෙන් ඵලදායී නොවේ.

(iii) අදාළ නොවේ.

(ඇ) පැන නොනඟී.
