Hon. Ravi Karunanayake,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Buddha Sasana and Religious Affairs,—
(a) Will he state—
(i) the number of Ex-Army Officers who are doing business with the Army;
(ii) whether it is permissible;
(iii) the names of 20 companies trading mostly with Army along with the names of the directors of those companies ;
(iv) the trade values of each company for year 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 separately ;
(v) whether aforesaid companies are going through the tender procedures when obtaining business opportunities from the Army; and
(vi) If not, as to why it is so?
(b) If not, why?
