Hon. Ravi Karunanayake,— To ask the Minister of External Affairs—
(a) Will he state—
(i) the names of the Ambassadors or High Commissioners in Sri Lankan Embassies or High Commissions worldwide on per country basis;
(ii) the other countries covered by each High Commissioner or Ambassador from his base station if any;
(iii) the experience of the Ambassadors/High Commissioners who have been appointed from the diplomatic service;
(iv) the experience or the credentials of the Ambassadors/High Commissioners who have been appointed to the office on political basis; and
(v) the significant achievements of each Embassy achieved during the last 5 years on behalf of the Sri Lanka?
(b) Will he also state—
(i) the number of staff members in each Embassy or High Commission posted from Sri Lanka; and
(ii) the annual cost incurred on aforesaid staff in each Embassy or High Commission separately?
(c) If not, why?
