Hon. Buddhika Pathirana,— To ask the Minister of Health,—
(a) Will he admit that—
(i) eventhough six years have passed since the opening of Kottanthivu rural hospital situated in Mundalama Divisional Secretariat Division in Puttlam District, no patient has been admitted to the hospital up to now; and
(ii) this situation has arisen as a result of not providing physical and human resources properly, though the hospital was opened?
(b) Will he inform this House—
(i) if so, whether measures will be taken speedily to address the shortage of resources that exists at the hospital in order to meet the health needs of the people of that area; and
(ii) if so, the time frame required for that?
(c) If not, why?
