Hon. E. Saravanapavan,— To ask the Minister of Public Administration and Home Affairs,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the number of Grama Niladhari Divisions situated within Marudankeni Divisional Secretariat Division;
(ii) of the number of Grama Niladharis serving there;
(iii) whether speedy steps will be taken to fill the vacancies for Grama Niladharis that exist in these areas where re-settlement is carried out?
(b) Will he state—
(i) the number of vacancies for Grama Niladharis that exist within the 15 Divisional Secretariat Divisions of Jaffna administrative district;
(ii) the number of Grama Niladhari Divisions in Jaffna district covered by acting Grama Niladharis due to lack of permanent Grama Niladharis, separately in terms of Divisional Secretariat Divisions;
(iii) the steps that will be taken to fill the vacancies for Grama Niladharis that exist in the aforesaid area?
(c) If not, why?
