Hon. E. Saravanapavan,— To ask the Minister of Education,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the number of officers of the Education Administrative Service that should be employed in the Kilinochchi Education zone;
(ii) of the number of officers of the Education Administrative Service who are attached to the Kilinochchi Education zone at present;
(iii) whether steps will be taken to fill the existing vacancies for the officers of the Education Administrative Service in the aforesaid Education zone; and
(iv) if not, the reasons for that?
(b) Will he state—
(i) separately, the number of Principals in Grade I, II and III of the Sri Lanka Principals’ service that has been approved for the Kilinochchi Education zone;
(ii) separately, the number of Principals in Grade I, II and III of the Sri Lanka Principals’ service who are serving at the aforesaid education zone at present;
(iii) whether action will be taken to provide the aforesaid education zone with the number of Principals of each of the aforesaid grades that should be employed there according to the approved cadre?
(c) If not, why?
