1525/2011: CONSTRUCTION OF COLOMBO SOUTH PORT: DETAILS

Hon. Ravi Karunanayake,— To ask the Minister of Ports and Highways,—

(a) Will he inform this House—

(i) as to when the Colombo South Port is going to be completed; and

(ii) the number of phases to be finished to reach its completion?

(b) Will he state—

(i) as to when the construction of breakwater of the Colombo South Port is going to be completed;

(ii) the construction cost of the breakwater; and

(iii) the bearer of the construction cost of breakwater?

(i) as to when the construction of berths of the above harbour is going to be completed ;

(ii) whether the private sector companies have come forward to finance and construct those berths; and

(iii) if so, the names of those companies along with the concessions granted to them?

(d) If not, why?

ගරු කථානායකතුමනි, මා එම ප්‍රශ්නයට පිළිතුර දෙනවා.

(අ) (i) අදියර I - 2024 දී නිම කිරීමට නියමිතය.

අදියර II - ඉල්ලුමේ පුරෝකථනයන් හා ඉදිකිරීම් පිරිවැය මත දෙවන අදියරේ ඉදි කිරීම් කටයුතු ආරම්භ කිරීම තීරණය වනු ඇත.

(ii) අදියර සංඛ්‍යාව 2ක් වශයෙන් ඉහත දක්වා ඇත.

(ආ) (i) 2012 අප්‍රේල් 10 වන දින වැඩ නිම කරන ලදී.

(ii) පිරිවැය ඇමෙරිකානු ඩොලර් මිලියන 400යි.

(iii) ආසියානු සංවර්ධන බැංකුව. (ණය ඇමෙරිකානු ඩොලර් මිලියන 300කි)

ශ්‍රී ලංකා වරාය අධිකාරිය ඇමෙරිකානු ඩොලර් මිලියන 81.3යි.

ලංකා ඛනිජ තෙල් නීතිගත සංස්ථාව ඇමෙරිකානු ඩොලර් මිලියන 18.7යි. (නල මාර්ගය දීර්ඝ කිරීමේ කටයුතු සඳහා)

(ඇ) (i) පළමු බහලු පර්යන්තය 2016 වර්ෂයේදී නිම කිරීමට නියමිතය.

දෙවන බහලු පර්යන්තය 2020 වර්ෂයේ නිම කිරීමට සැලසුම් කර ඇත.

තුන්වන බහලු පර්යන්තය 2024 වර්ෂයේදී නිම කිරීමට සැලසුම් කර ඇත.

(ii) ඔව්.

‍ (iii) පළමු බහලු පර්යන්තය

සමාගමේ නම: කොළඹ ජාත්‍යන්තර බහලු අංගන සමාගම (CICT)

සලසන ලද සහන: 2008 අංක 14 දරන ක්‍රමෝපාය සංවර්ධන ව්‍යාපෘති පනතේ 3වන වගන්තියේ (4) වන උපවගන්ති යටතේ සංශෝධනය කර ඇති පරිදි ආයෝජන මණ්ඩලය විසින් ඇතැම් සහන සලසා ඇත.

(ඈ) අදාළ නොවේ.
