Hon. (Ven.) Ellawala Medhananda Thero,— To ask the Minister of National Heritage,—
(a) Is he aware that—
(i) the land in Kotte, where the Headquarters of Jathika Sevaka Sangamaya is located, is an important archaeological site; and
(ii) archaeological monuments dating back to the Kotte Kingdom lie in this land ?
(b) if so, will he inform this House whether necessary arrangements will be made to acquire this land and conserve it ?
(c) If not, why ?
