Hon. (Ven.) Ellawala Medhananda Thero,— To ask the Minister of National Heritage,—
(a) Is he aware that the places of archaeological importance in the Northern and the Eastern provinces are destroyed by treasure hunters ?
(b) Will he inform this House of the courses of action that have been taken so far to protect the aforesaid sites from those treasure hunters and other threats ?
(c) If not, why ?
