Hon. M. Joseph Michael Perera,— To ask the Minister of Civil Aviation,—
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) the amount to be met locally out of the total estimated cost for the new airport project at Mattala, Hambantota ;
(ii) the amount to be met through foreign funds ;
(iii) the sources of funding of the aforesaid project ;
(iv) out of the total cost the amount being received as loans;
(v) the names of countries granting loans, the relevant interest rates and the loan repayment periods ; and
(vi) the timeframe for the completion of the entire project?
(b) Will he state the method of recruiting workers for the activities of the aforesaid project?
(c) If not , why?
