Thushara Indunil Amarasena,— To ask the Minister of Irrigation,— (a) Will he inform this House— (i) of the names of irrigation reserves located in the Kurunegala district; and (ii) of the extent of land belonging to the aforesaid reserves? (b) Is he aware that the lands belonging to those reserves have been acquired by unauthorized cultivators? (c) Will he also inform this House of the steps that will be taken by the Ministry to remove those unauthorized cultivators? (d) If not, why?
