(Mrs.) Rohini Kumari Wijerathna,— To ask the Minister of Highways,—(1) Will he inform this House— of the present status of the proposed Phase IV (Kurunegala–Dambulla) of the Central Expressway Project; whether the amount of money to be compensated to those who lose their properties due to the above-mentioned Project has been determined by now; if so, whether he will present it to the House; and of the manner in which compensation is paid for the lost properties of those who possess properties belonging to temples due to the Project? Will he also inform the House— of the percentage at which payment is made for land; and how payment is made for the development value; in paying compensation relating to the Project? If not, why?
