Hon. Velu Kumar,— To ask the Minister of Plantation,—
(a) Will he inform this House the names of the companies that cultivate palm oil trees in Sri Lanka?
(b) Will he also inform this House separately, the extent of land used by each of the aforesaid companies to cultivate palm oil trees?
(c) Will he further inform this House—
(i) whether those companies have licenses to cultivate palm oil trees; and
(ii) whether steps will be taken to remove the palm oil cultivations?
(d) If not, why?
