Hon. Sivagnanam Shritharan,— To ask the Minister of Education,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether he is aware that a school named Tamilcholai Vidyalaya was in operation in the Killinochchi District;
(ii) if so, the date on which the aforesaid school was started; and
(iii) separately the year in which students from the aforesaid Tamilcholai Vidyalaya last sat the GCE (O/L) Examination and the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination?
(b) Will he also inform this House—
(i) the present name of the aforesaid school;
(ii) the name of the person who changed the name of that school to its present name, the date and the reason for changing the name; and
(iii) whether there is a possibility to be the founder of the school by changing the name of the aforesaid school in this manner?
(c) If not, why?
