Hon. Gamini Jayawickrama Perera,— To ask the Minister of Economic Development,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether an Island situated close to Kalpitiya has been leased out to a local or foreign company or an individual;
(ii) if it has been leased out, the purpose, the period and the amount of the lease ?
(b) Will he state —
(i) the name of the company to which the aforesaid island has been leased out or the name of the person to whom it has been leased out;
(ii) whether the relevant Lease Agreement will be submitted to this House?
(c) If not, why?
