150/ 2020 Hon. S. M. Marikkar,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance,— (a) Will he inform this House— (i) whether the relevant Finance companies have been made aware of the 6 months grace period that was promised to be offered to the customers who had obtained finance facilities, to pay their instalments during the Covid-19 period; (ii) if so, whether it can be affirmed that the customers who obtained finance facilities received that relief; (iii) if the customers did not receive that relief, the reason for that; and (iv) the future steps the Government will take regarding the customers who have been subjected to injustice owing to that reason? (b) If not, why?
