Marikkar,— To ask the Minister of Education,— Is he aware that— there are 02 teacher vacancies each for the subjects of History, Civic Education, Drama and Theatre as well as a vacancy each for the subjects of Tamil, Art, Information Technology, Media, Physics, Agricultural Science, Bio System Technology, Accounting, Communication and Media, Buddhist Civilization and a vacancy each for the posts of student counselling and Teacher Librarian in the academic staff of Sri Rajasinghe Vidyalaya at Kudabuthgamuwa which is the only mixed National school in Kolonnawa Educational Division; there are 02 vacancies each in the posts of Sanitary Labourer, Garden Labourer and General Labourer as well as three vacancies each in the post of Laboratory Assistant and a vacancy in the post of Management Assistant coming under the Non-Academic staff? Will he inform this House the plans the Ministry has to fill the aforesaid vacancies and the specific dates the vacancies will be filled? If not, why?
