Hon. Chaminda Wijesiri,— To ask the Minister of Trade,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) the number of state owned rice storage centers in Sri Lanka;
(ii) the places where the aforesaid facilities are established;
(iii) separately, the quantity of rice that has been stored in each center from 2015 to date;
(iv) out of the aforesaid centers, the number of centers that have been abandoned without using for any purpose;
(v) the names of those centers; and
(vi) the steps that will be taken by the Ministry to reopen those centers?
(b) If not, why?
