Shantha Bandara, _ To ask the Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs and Minister of Urban Development and Housing (a) Will he inform this House,_ (i) the current number of Samurdhi recipient families; (ii) the number of Samurdhi recipient families that have been empowered by now ? (b) Is he aware that there are a big number of families that have submitted applications with objective of obtaining Samurdhi relief? (c) Will he also inform this House,_ (i) Whether action will be taken to provide Samurdhi relief to the families in the aforesaid waiting list ; (ii) If so , the date from which it will be provided ? (d) If not , why ?
