Hon. Buddhika Pathirana,— To ask the Minister of Transport,—
(a) Will he admit that—
(i) the train operations process in Sri Lanka is outdated;
(ii) the space of the operation room is insufficient;
(iii) the method of issuing tickets should be changed; and
(iv) new technological methods should be used for that?
(b) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether steps have been taken to construct a new operations room for the train operations process;
(ii) if so, the cost to be incurred on it;
(iii) whether arrangements would be made to introduce new methods of issuing tickets; and
(iv) if so, what those methods are?
(c) If not, why?
