Hon. Chaminda Wijesiri,— To ask the Minister of Justice,—
(a) Is he aware that there were allegations against a doctor named Safi of the Kurunegala Teaching Hospital for performing sterilization surgeries on Sinhalese women?
(b) Will he inform this House of—
(i) the names and the addresses of the lawyers who appeared in courts on behalf of him in the case filed against that doctor;
(ii) the courses of action taken against that doctor so far; and
(iii) the courses of action that will be taken to expedite the inquiries against that doctor and mete out justice to the aggrieved mothers;
(c) If not, why?
