20/2020 Hon. Hesha Withanage,— To ask the Minister of Health Is she aware that— circular number 22/2002 was issued in connection with absorption of Public Health Field Officers to middle level technical service; however Health authorities and the Public Service Commission authorities of the Sabaragamuwa Province do not adhere to aforesaid circular; and the direction of the Governor of Sabaragamuwa province in this regard, has been neglected by the Public Service Commission of Sabaragamuwa Province? Will she inform this House of the reason as to why the Public Service Commission of Sabaragamuwa Province neglected the direction of the Governor of Sabaragamuwa Province, three times? Will she also inform this House — of the total outstanding amount payable for Public Health Field Officers of the Sabaragamuwa Province; and whether measures will be taken to pay aforesaid amounts in future? If not, why?
