15/2020 Hon. Hesha Withanage,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious & Cultural Affairs and Minister of Urban Development & Housing,— (a) Will he inform this House— (i) of the number of persons arrested on charges of selling and using illicit drugs from 01.02.2015 up to now in respect of each year separately; (ii) of the names of the government institutions and government sponsored institutions that take measures to control illicit drugs; and (iii) of the amount of illicit drugs that had been taken into custody by each of the aforesaid institutions separately? (b) If not, why?
