Hon. Shantha Bandara,— To ask the Minister of Power and Energy,—
(a) Will he state—
(i) whether he is aware that projects were implemented to generate the electricity required to strengthen the national power grid in our country after year 2005 ;
(ii) if so, what those projects are as per hydro power plants, thermal power plants and other power plants separately ; and
(iii) separately, the number of mega watts that have been added to the national power grid by those projects by now and the number of mega watts targeted to be added in future?
(b) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether attention has been paid to starting special projects in addition to the above mentioned projects ; and
(ii) if so, the details of each of those projects briefly?
(c) If not, why?
