Hon. Buddhika Pathirana,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Buddhasasana, Cultural and Religious Affairs,—
(a) Will he admit that—
(i) media such as Tele dramas, Movies and Songs can be used to create ethnic unity and reconciliation in the country; and
(ii) classical creations can be produced by developing a programme to direct the proficient persons in the relevant fields towards this end?
(b) Will he state—
(i) whether the government has taken measures to produce creations of art aimed at reconciliation; and
(ii) if so, what those steps are?
(c) If not, why?
