Hon. Ishak Rahuman,— To ask the Minister of Internal & Home Affairs and Provincial Councils & Local Government,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether he is aware that there is a surplus of the officers who are not essential and a shortage of the officers who are essential in the Divisional Secretariats in Anuradhapura district; and
(ii) the date on which necessary action will be taken to provide a more productive service to the public having balanced the aforesaid number of officers?
(b) If not, why?
