0756/2019: ROYAL PRIMARY COLLEGE, POLONNARUWA: DEVELOPMENT

Hon. Roshan Ranasinghe,— To ask the Minister of Education,—

(a) Will he state—

(i) the reason for not admitting the students of Royal Primary College, Polonnaruwa, who have passed Grade 5 to Grade 6 of Plonnaruwa Royal Central College; and

(ii) the solutions that will be provided in relation to the secondary education of the students who had their education up to Grade 5 at Royal Primary College?

(b) Will he inform this House—

(i) whether it is intended to provide secondary education for the students of Royal Primary College, Polonnaruwa, who have passed Grade 5 within that school itself;

(ii) whether immediate and long term plans have been developed to improve the other facilities of that school for that purpose; and

(iii) if so, what those plans are?

(c) If not, why?
