Hon. Douglas Devananda,— To ask the Minister of Power, Energy and Enterprise Development,—
(a) Is he aware that—
(i) around 43,818 families live in Kilinochchi District at present; and
(ii) 4,039 of such families have not been provided with electricity connections so far after resettlement?
(b) Will he inform the House—
(i) whether measures will be taken expeditiously to give electricity connections to these families;
(ii) if so, on which date it will be done; and
(iii) if not, for what reasons?
(c) If not, why?
