To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Buddha Sasana and Religious Affairs,— Will he inform this House — separately, and on district basis, the number of troops recruited to the Civil Defence Department from the Eastern Province from 2005 to 31st March 2010, and the dates on which such recruitment were made ; separately, and on district basis, the number of troops who succumbed to their injuries or became disabled, out of the number so recruited ; and the welfare measures adopted by the government for the spouses and children of those who died and for those who became disabled? If not, why ?
