Hon. (Dr.) Bandula Gunawardana,— To ask the Minister of Public Enterprise, Kandyan Heritage and Kandy Development,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether he will table a list of investors and enterprises subjected to difficulty by the Revival of Underperforming Enterprises or Underutilized Assets Act, No. 43 of 2011 as per Budget Proposal No. 206 of the Budget 2016;
(ii) what courses of action were taken by the Government to give relief or facilitate the enterprises which were put to difficulties by Act, No. 43 of 2011; and
(iii) what new laws have been introduced or are intended to be presented to protect local and global investors as per the aforesaid Budget Proposal?
(b) If not, why?
