Hon. S. Shritharan,— To ask the Minister of Education,—
(a) Is he aware that—
(i) there is a national school known as Kili/Kilinochchi Central College in the Karachchi Divisional Secretariat Division in the Kilinochchi district; and
(ii) this college, which is one of the two National schools in the kilinochchi district is functioning with shortage of teachers, shortage of staff, shortage of desks and chairs and other resources?
(b) Will he inform this House—
(i) the name of the principal, deputy principal, teachers and members of the non-academic staff of aforesaid college;
(ii) the reasons for not making arrangements to fill the vacancies of the non-academic staff of this college; and
(iii) whether educational activities of the students can be developed by not making arrangements to fill these vacancies?
(c) Will he also inform this House—
(i) the date, the building needs of this college will be fulfilled;
(ii) the date, the shortage of desks and chairs will be fully met; and
(iii) the date, the vacancies of the staff of this college will be filled?
(d) If not, why?
