Hon. S. Shritharan,— To ask the Minister of Education,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) the number of schools located in the islet of Eluvaithiv in the peninsula zone of the Jaffna district;
(ii) the last grade in which the students preparing for the G.C.E. (Ordinary Level) examination of Sarawanabawa School located in the said islet sit the term test;
(iii) the school in which these students sit the G.C.E. (Ordinary Level) examination now; and
(iv) the obstacles in conducting the G.C.E. (Ordinary Level) examination at Eluvaithiv?
(b) If not, why?
