Hon. Jayantha Samaraweera,— To ask the Minister of Public Enterprise, Kandyan Heritage and Kandy Development,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the name of the person to whom a land from the Wiliyamulla Plantation belonging to the Janatha Estate Development Board has been given on lease basis;
(ii) the extent of that land;
(iii) the loss incurred by the Janatha Estate Development Board owing to non-recovery of the lease from 2013 to 2015 according to the new valuation report; and
(iv) the steps to be taken by the Ministry in this regard?
(b) If not why?
