Hon. Susantha Punchinilame,— To ask the Minister of Lands and Parliamentary Reforms,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether there is a plan to shift Kanthale Assistant Land Commissioner’s office or a part of it to Trincomalee Deputy Land Commissioner’s office or some other place;
(ii) if not so, whether measures will be taken to remedy the existing deficiencies in aforesaid office; and
(iii) as to why aforesaid office is not improved further, since all the lands under the purview of the Kanthale Divisional Secretariat Division, are state lands?
(b) If not, why?
